Can't rmember the exact price - but I was in Tesco's last night and they had 28" w/s TVs for round £155!

they do a phillips 28" nearl;y flatscreen that was rated as no 1 in many mags a year ago.

they were very expensive but now around £200 - depeding when you buy them andif you get want a stand - dont bother as its usually £50 more.

the picture is excellent and the quality is amazing for the set, easy to set up too.

the same tv in tesco without a stand is £250.

I know many tvs are cheaper - 169 upwards but they dont touch this model.

Hmmm, looking about I could have sworn it was possible to get one of these cheap 28" for about £130 but there doesn't seem to be anywhere with them at the moment, so perhaps it's a pretty good price (although I would aim for £150 if possible!)

The MP3 player is superb price if you can get one, even play.com has their equivalent at £10 more! You can get them only slightly cheaper on ebay (inc postage), but only if you bid clever, and risk importing it - not worth the hassle.

However I would expect the price of these things to come right down in the next few weeks, seems theres some far eastern factorys churning them out by the million.
