Just remember if you're buying this thinking you're getting a quality brand that most of the smaller screen Toshiba are actually Vestel sets with a Toshiba badge slapped on!

It means you're getting an inferior product to one if it had actually been made by Toshia.

I'm not trying to put anybody off and it's pretty common - especially with sets under 32inch.

Tesco Extra Watford had 19" LCD/Freeview with a memory stick included to record/pause live tv etc, for £93, on the end of the first main aisle.

Didn't take too much attention to the other details (ie make/model etc) was just surprised at the low price.

Okay, thanks - I have a 32" Toshiba and was considering this for my DS's Xmas present mainly because I do consider Toshiba a quality brand. I'll look further into it..........

I used to have a 32" Toshiba. I'm not sure of whether or not my model was Toshiba or Vestel, but it did develop a fault that was known to happen on a Vestel set.

The fault was that the on/off button on the side of the TV would stick and not work properly. Toshiba knew about it and were more than happy to fix at no cost, provide a courier etc. I ended up turning them down as I just put it on standby and didn't want to be without a TV for 2wks.

Since then I've upgraded to a 42". Again a Toshiba. Like I said, I don't want to put people off as I think Toshiba are very good. I just made my original post thinking it would be of some use, and again, this is NOT something specific to Toshiba.
