  • There don't seem to be much online (for men that is) - is there more in store?

    Just a warning.

I spent 1 hour looking through it all and adding some items to my basket in FIREFOX. for it to not work finding my delivery address (it requires a pop up etc..)

So, if anyone doesnt use Internet explorer as there main browser i suggest you do for this website!
  • Give up now guys.

Placed an order at 6.30am this morning whilst it was still working.
E-mail 1 hour later to say that the 2 throws I had specifically placed the order for were suddenly 'out of stock'. They were of course going to deliver the rest of my order (one bleedin' top) straight away - and of course charge me £3.50 delivery for the privilege!!

Rang CS but apparently the order is already being 'processed' so it cannot be cancelled :( I now have to hope I catch the courier to reject the order!!

    Grumble grumble.

M&S do this as well (send e-mail for items not in stock but send the rest of the order without checking/ringing you first). Bloody annoys me!!

So I went for it. But it had gone.'
  • website seems down right now...
  • I wouldn't bother going to the store, hardly anything and not what I would call bargain prices.

funny how the front page and the holding page loads almost instantly where as once you get in the rest of the pages take for ever!

almost like they have different servers for them.

I have had poor experience with Debenhams to , hence i would never order from them again , not the best customer service either.
  • Been into town this morning and had a quick look around. Seems to be full of the usual old sale stuff that gets brought out sale after sale. A lot of the Early Learning things are still 70% off though. No signs, you just have to take it to the till and do a price enquiry. I got a marble madness run for £3 instead of £15, a tissue paper flower kit for £1.80 instead of £6 and a toool workbench plus tools for £12 instead of £40.
    HTH somebody.

Many thanks for this! After reading about your experiences with Debenhams (both now and in previous sales), I don't think I'll bother ordering online. They don't seem to want to learn from their mistakes - and it's such a big name on the high street...

Thanks OP for letting us know about the sale though. :)

EDIT: 3 stars for me, now I'm an 'EverSoRegular Moneysaver'. Yay!!!! :j :j :j
