i replaced the key to a kia carens about a year ago and it was £120 and had to go to the dealer and my mate replaced her key card on her scenic and it was £130 and again through the dealer (car has to be programmed to the new key) hope you get your keys back:beer:

No good news I'm afraid. I hope you get it back too, as craftyfox has said it is not cheap. Any Renault dealer can do it. I did price one for a Kangoo van which was around the £120 mark, this was for a real key not a card type.

    Hi all

Just an update, having phoned to price ordering new keys which would have cost at least £175. My car keys have been found after nine days, we checked in shop several times. My husband went round last night and they had them such a relief, they ad lost my number. Thank goodness had not ordered new ones!!!

So glad to hear you found your keys...
There is definately nothing but bad news when it comes to modern Renault keys.
My sister in law recently had to get a new key for her Sceninc Mk2 (card style key) as it stopped working, it was £175 from the local dealer and it can take up to 2 weeks to get it in.
I'm fortunate as I also have a Mk2 Scenic but I have 2 keys so it should be some time before I need to get hold of a new key, if ever.
If you keep both keys together, I would definately advise you to always keep the spare at home then you will always have a backup.
