I hate Rewired"The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -
Albert Einstein0 -
to be fair HOUSE_PRICE_CRASH_GHOULS is a more intelligent version of Rewired - at least HPCG can type and knows how to use their keyboard...
Hey leave Rewired alone I received my first thanks yesterday, I think he/she must be Irish
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
What exactly is the difference between this thread and the dubiously motivated one you started 3 months ago?

Hi again fatballz, it seems that the biggest similarity between my two threads is the reluctance of site members to discuss the actual topic of the original post (which was/is how best to take meaningful action against the real causes of the current financial chaos)
This site seems to be largely populated by apologists for the banks, whose main aim is to try to rationalise the irrational!
There are also some geeks on here who enjoy researching the posting history of people whose views they do not like. For the information of the 'geek' group, I have now completely paid off my self-certified mortgage, with out ever having missed a payment, or even been so much as a day late
However, I am still extremely angry with the banks, because they continue to walk away (with government approval) from their responsibilities. I am not in a position to lead any kind of civic protest against them, but I am fully in support of those who can

Not bitter then?, seems you don't like people who don't agree with you.
FWIW I think nearly every poster on here does blame the Bankers but unlike you they don't lay all the blame at their door. Its really quite simple :
Greedy bankers+ bad government+ f*ckless borrowers =Economic disaster.
They have all indeed got away with murder and we can but hope their wings are clipped ,doubtful in all honesty but don't think either Nu Labour or the Tories had/have the guts to do it.0 -
leveller, pretty much sums it up tbh.0

The real cause was the rise of the chav - the must have it now, put it on credit take more credit to pay off the credit brigade. The ooooh 50" TV on 0% for 18 months and a TV with free fridge too lot.
Obviously being so intelligent MMM you'll realise that there were several layers between the mortgage brokers/finance companies that sold products to these muppets and the 'evil bankers' that wrapped up these loans into more complicated investment vehicles?
I say shoot the chavs - it's their fault we're in this mess (promised to pay money they couldn't afford) and they're on benefits too which is costing the country 587% of it's GDP (according to the daily fail). Killing them off will prevent it happening again and slash the deficit.0
