Guaranteed employment?

Just curious to know if there are any schemes out there where you would commit to training for a particular job -any sector- with guaranteed job at the end?

Or am I completely barking?

    BT Apprenticeship.

    No Age limit!

Pay between 12-15k in first year increases 2 - 3k annually during apprenticeship.

Areas include, BT Retail, OpenReach(engineer), BT Operate(Electrical & Power), and a few more...

    Hope that helps.

Watch out for some IT training companies which offer offer "guaranteed" jobs if you do their training. However, the guarantees are that you will receive a job offer (probably from a linked company) and the pay/conditions may not be what you would be willing to accept - or you start and can be dismissed shortly afterwards. You then can't claim on the "guarantee" because you have received a job offer but turned it down or you started but the employment was terminated.

Incredible...does this really still go on?

I've been a Manager of various personnel and depts. for over 2 years and have had the priviledge of picking my own staff..
I would never dream of treating staff in that way,but maybe I'm a dying breed?

Bloody hell whats going on out there?
