Long time it seems looking at everything everyone has been making. I have 1 of my 7 fairs left on Sat although it will prob be cancelled. (OH away on business and not looking like eurostar running)
Have done well from them though.
Best sellers have been :
Pints of Socks
ladies sock cupcakes
Peg Magnets.
Bah Humbugs
There are so many fantastic ideas...I think it will be my number one job in January to relook through this thread and make a list of thing s to make.Silly me didn't think to make list already!:oWas thinking of starting doing labels ready for next year and throughout year as they seem to be the bits that take the most amount of time.0 -
Does anyone use Hot Chocolate that you mix into Hot Milk for their snowman soup and if so does anyone have a rhyme to go with that?
Sue xx
This is the one I used
This Snowman Soup is just for you
Four spoons per cup (there's enough for two)
Add to hot milk and stir it up
And then - before you drain the cup -
Sprinkle with the chocolate chips
Give a stir with the candy stick,
Top off with the mallow snow
And give your heart a Christmas glow!

Some quite cute Christmas labels here and loads more here (the angry chicken ones are brilliant!)
Not sure exactly what size they print at but scalloped circle ones might be quite good for the 2" scalloped punches. Here are only some of the selection. If you hit the autofill button you can fill in your name etc before printing.0 -

Congrats wookeyhole1 on your fair. Sounds like it went well. I've got my first one tomorrow (weather permitting)!
I make sock cup cakes and flannel cupcakes and I would be selling at a loss if I sold them for 50p each? How do you make them so cheap?
My cost breakdown for each cupcake:
Cupcake case - 21p,
Cello bag - 7p
Bath Bomb Chill Pill - 16p
Ribbon - 5p - 10p
Socks between 30p - £1.00
So approx £1.50 cost for each one. I was going to charge £3.50 but now I'm wondering if this is too much?:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
