OR interview yesterday please help

hi had my OR interview yesterday it was ok he was reasonable... but he took an interest in my life ins no cash in value but has offered me to buy interest back what happens does this mean no matter what happens if i buy this back they wont take an interest in the money if i die?? just want to make sure to protect my loved ones in the future only he says if i dont buy back then for the duration of the policy which is 23 years he would have all the money not just my BR period....he also wanted my Husbands Full salary my hubbie refused as he isnt BR he contributes half and i put this down... last question my salary sometimes fluctulates by either 30.00 more a month or 20 lower dont want be ringin every month ......how much either way do i have to inform him i do have an ipa to be set up many thanks in advance

It will cost you £50 to buy it back, but whilst you are BR the OR will still have first call on any proceeds if anything did happen, once you are discharged then the OR has no call on it. If you don`t buy it back and continue with the policy the OR has first call on it even after discharge.
