Ive been paying my mortgage on my own for 7 year since my partner left. I requested to have my partners name taken off the mortgage with his consent. I was knocked back because i do not earn enough even tho the house is worth 3 times the amount of the loan, and I have never missed a payment. ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE

Carry on paying the mortgage as normal as there is nothing else you can do. Its not the value of the property but the ratio of your income to loan value.0

Did you request this 7 years ago, or more recently. If 7 years ago perhapse there's more equity in the house now, and you can ask again?0

Earn more.
Pay a lump sum off the mortgage.
(Go on, give us a clue. What earnings do you have, how much is the debt and how much is the property worth?)
One option may be to talk to a whole of market mortgage broker and investigate remortgage possibilities.0 -
