.... whatever we have finally decide on, may I confirm that they are in fact better than free!!!!!!

Change from a pound for 2 full carrier bags of cakes/biscuits and 2, 2L bottles of Pepsi max to help them down!

They'll be on there way to the vicar's Harvest collection later.

    Great find OP

The VAT question was one of is it a chocolate covered biscuit, and if it was, then it would be Standard rated for VAT.

BOTH cakes and biscuits are Zero rated for VAT (considered a necessity).

In the end McVities baked a 12" Jaffa Cake which convinced the Tribunal Chairman of the general cakeiness of the Jaffa Cake.

I'd have loved to eaten that one!!!
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

How do you get 40p off the 2 of them? Do you need a code or does it just happen at checkout? Surely they are not going to reach in the till and hand over 6p?

I bought 2 packets on Tuesday but no discount came off for mine. Is it a new offer that has come into force?
