Oh that's sad. I much preferred Loudoun Castle to the "Scotland's Theme Park".

    It's only a game

I was reading about this yesterday, apparently the owner is going to take the business in a different direction... whatever that means.

They have retained 8 or their 11 full time staff, no mention of the 160 seasonal staff who work there.

Shame, it was a nice park for younger kids, not over run by orange coloured, swearing teens like M&Ds is.;)

Excellent news, the noise from the park was a disgrace.

Anyone living in the north of Galston had to endure the amplified commentaries and golfers at Loudon were unable to concentrate on their shots.

Complaints to the theme park and the local council were ignored. The area will become peaceful again.

There's a rumour that they might build holiday lodges there...

I suppose that will keep you happy, Scotsbob?

Don't think that will keep 160 seasonal staff employed, though.:(
