I am due my 3rd baby at the end of november so wanted to get my xmas organised before then. last year i made lots of homemade presents which was very time consuming, I basically want it all - cheap present ideas but not requiring too much work as dont have the energy at the moment being pregnant with a 2 year old and a 3 year old. anyone got any ideas for cheap presents for the following
Mother - in - law - quite a young 53 year old, no particular hobbies
husbands step brother - very immature 11 year old.
husbands aunt
husbands nan and my nan
brother in law - likes football, gaming
sister - will have a 3 month old at xmas
husbands cousin - 15 years old, only child so pretty much has everything you can think of.
sister in law - in 2nd year of uni.

Vistaprint calendars! Few family pics added and just order, all without leaving your seat! If you do soon you can order the slowest postage so they cost less. My Grandad loves them and now gets on every year, this years pics are all from when we visited Longleat Animal park!0

I second Vistaprint, I got a leaflet from them yesterday offering a persoanlised picture calendar for 99p!
Another idea too is to wrap anything you make/buy in brown wrapping paper and then let you 2 and 3 yr olds loose with christmas themed stickers, it makes unusual wrapping paper, the children love to do and my relatives at least were quite impressed when my DD1 did it!0 -
Also spent some time having a look around facebook groups. Lots of crafty peope have started their own fanpages and sell homemade things. These are much more competetively (sp?) priced than the shops and obviously look like you yourself have put all the effort in! I even saw one facebook fanpage recently where she makes hampers all all different sorts, and as most of them are just people making a few extra pennies on the side they are very reasonable and flexible, so if you contacted them with a price range Im sure they could accomodate it.
Handmade jewellery for the ladies, pamper hamper for the MIL and aunt, football hamper for the brother... just some ideas of things I have seen on facebook fanpages

I rely on a lot of my family helping me out with child care and picking the kids up from school, and ferrying them around here there and everywhere.
Last year i got my family some of these personalised signs http://www.personalisedcarsigns.co.uk , they were nice and cheap and a great little stocking filler - just something a little novel for the grandparents, they've still got them in there cars now.0 -
like giggles mentioned - i've found some great crafty things via facebook previously, well worth a search on there0

Chocolate! I'm in a similar position and after reading the chocolate catalogue I got the other day (chocolates for chocoholics I think) I am seriously tempted to just buy everyone a box of chocolates for Christmas!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

what about homemade food/hamper. you could make some relish/chutney when the kids are in bed. Jam, lemon curd, chocs, cookies, mince pies, etc.
how about photo mugs, keyrings, calenders, etc. last year i bought mil a calendar in boots (3 for 2 i think) and you put your own photos in.
maybe for the ladies a sort of pamper hamper. last year i got my mum (who has rough skin on her feet) a washing up bowl (the hamper) and in it put some foot lotion, bubble bath, choc to eat while her feet soak, new socks, some gel socks from ebay that moisturise your feet, foot file, etc.
sister in law - buy a nice notepad - wilkos has some really nice cheap stuff, all matching too! pad, folders, pens, or you could cover a notepad. if you can sew a laptop cover? http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2009/apr/14/make-your-own-laptop-case or something funny like emergency kit, so a pack of paracetamol for hang overs, tin of beans, frame a £5 note for emergencies only. or 20p for the phone! some warm socks as student places are always cold! search on google for student hampers/packs youy might get some better ideas lol0 -
a laptop cover is a great idea, especially if you can get some really funky fabric. I have a small netbook which came with it's own pouch, i use it loads and it's usefull, but just a bit boring. A really funky patterened one would be great for me - hopefully someone i know reads these forums... hint hint if they do.0
