I had a loan from Lioyds TSB Bank,to help my son out, i have been paying £290 monthly, because he went off & left me to pay it, i am retired, i do work partime, but what with my bills, i am finding it difficult, i wondered if the bank would put the payments down, i have been paying it for 3yrs now. thankyou.

There are ways to reduce your payments, but I would suggest that you seek some proffessional advice (try the CAB) before you go to the bank. They may try to re-negociate over a longer term, with lower monthly payments, and this could mean that you end up paying much more in the long run.
How much, and over what length of time, was the oiriginal loan for and what was the interest?I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
