Hi,
I am intending on submitting my BR petition next week and was just hoping someone could run their eye over my incomings and outgoings on my SOA.
I am a self employed sole trader and after essential expenses of running my business, I will net £1492pm after tax and NI. My partner who has no credit problems and nets around £2100pm after tax will be contributing £934pm towards her 50% share of household bills, rent, food etc.
I have listed outgoings as:

Housekeeping - £300pm (jointly)
Gas, Electricity - £90pm (jointly)
Water - £50pm (jointly)
Telephone Charges - £36 (jointly)
Travelling to and from work - £0
Clothing - £40
My Child Maintenance (via court order) - £321
Council Tax - £188pm (jointly)
Other essential payments - £502pm consisting of:
Buildings & Contents Insurance - £42 (jointly)
Life Insurance & pension - £251
TV Licence & Sky - £62 (jointly)
Meals at work - £50
Laundry - £10
Prescriptions & Health Costs - £22
Haircut - £15
Holidays - £50
TOTAL - £2627pm
Any feedback very welcome!

At the moment your outgoings are greater than your incomings by £201. You need to balance this. How are you going to survive with no credit?BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Thanks very much for your reply. I will make the changes you suggested to the list.
I am aware my outgoings exceed my incomings and I think I will either have to get a part time job in the evenings (I didnt put it down in my income as I have not got a part time job yet) Failing that, I guess I will have to cease my monthly pension contributions which are £200pm. Do u think this would be an acceptable explanation to the OR or should I detail this on the form?0 -
I would make a note on the form so the OR understands what is going on.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

The OR may question the rent(£1100). Is that the average for the area. If it is higher he will probably expect you to move somewhere cheaper.0
