Well what would you know, after averaging over 50hrs per week for the last 18 months, I have been told I will be getting a bonus next month for the commitment (and more importantly achievements). Will come straight off the bottom line, and probably doesn't work out much more than £2 an hour for overtime if I did look at all the evenings and weekends, but hey, should pick up the best part of 1000 after decudtions. Sorry, this post isn't meant to be a gloat, just sharing good news.

Well done on what you have paid off so far. However if you are buying things at jumble sales to sell on ebay, then you must be careful you don't fall foul of the tax implications of this. The revenue look on this sort of activity as a business, with all the tax and vat implications. Selling things from your own home is fine.

Been a tough month, but still showing progress.

For all of you out there struggling on and seeing progress, keep up the good work, I can see some light now, and some months we have cleared the best part of a thousand pounds despite setbacks along the way.

Have just been accepted for a 0% 12 month Tesco card, awaiting the paperwork to see the credit limit, but may bring untold relief when it arrives if can clear the MBNA card!

Been a tough couple of months with family issues to resolve, and lots of credit card tarting (failures and successes) expecting things to have taken a step in the wrong direction, but we're clearly starting to do some things fundamentally right!

For all of you out there thinking you're drowning, just keep on at it. Crazy, but seeing the overall figure fall below 25000 is a massive buzz.

Update 7th June (just look at the breathing space now! - got until November before the next stressful round of tarting)

    MSDW (existing card offer) 0% Nov 07 – 9400
    ASDA (new card) 0% Jan 08 – 2780
    Tesco (new card) 0% Apr 08 – 4041
    MBNA (existing card offer) 0% Aug 07 – 2942
Bank of Scotland (new card) 0% Jan 08 – 9270
TOTAL NET DEBT now 28433 less 3450 in savings account = £24983
