I don't believe it!!

Just rang the car and the photographer to see if all is still ok for tomorrow.

Car is fine, everything sorted and ready.

Rang photographers studio (they have a shop as it's a printing business aswell) and was told the photographer was on holiday!!

Said I was getting married tomorrow, and whoever I spoke to suggested I email the tog, as she couldn't give her personal number out ~ !!!!!!?????????

I rang back to confirm the email address i have (tog gave me her personal addy when i paid the balance to send a list of formal shots we want) and was told "I think that's the one"?!!!!!!!!

Have emailed, but now what?!

If I don't hear anything by 12.30 I'll be getting OH to run me to the shop and I won't leave till I get a bloody phone number to see !!!!!! is going on.

To be honest right now i don't give a shoot if there has been a c0ck up, but I just want to know whether she is going to be there or not!

If not, fine, but I don't want to get there tomorrow expecting to see the photographer and she's not there.

It's a bit naughty to take time off the day before you're booked to do a job without ringing or e-mailing to confirm everything is sorted, no wonder you're cross! Surely photographers deal with nervous brides enough to know that they'll need this reassurance in the days leading up to their wedding!

Is her home number in the phone book by any chance?

Oh dear That's terrible that the person in the shop isn't more helpful. If she can't give out personal phone number then that's fine- but she should be ringing the photographer for you and asking her to give you a call to set your mind at rest... Maybe she's just having a one day 'holiday' as in just a day off from work? Don't panic just yet.

I only ever had the shop number for her and don't know her surname to look in the phone book. It did say on the paperwork that she would ring a couple of days before the day to check everything, but I haven't heard a thing and that's what I explained to whoever I spoke to in the shop.

Honestly, you would have thought I was moaning about a tshirt that had been printed wrong! :cool:

No she's been off all week, editing pics from other weddings I was told.

It's been an hour now since I rang. I've told OH but not anyone else. I told him not to mention it to anyone until we know what's happening for sure.

Jesus, my Mum paid for it and will go maaaaaaaaaad if it all goes t!ts up! :eek:

I would ring the shop again and ask them (ie tell them, but in as least stroppy a way as you can manage ) that you understand they cannot give out the ladies number but you expect them to get in contact with her and get her to call you within the next hour or you will have to consider the possibility that something is wrong and you may have to find another photographer... because she was supposed to contact you several days ago and hasn't. I would be in a mood to take no prisoners by now...

Oh shoes! That's not good at all! I would take a deep breath before going and playing holy who knows what in the shop. I would get your OH to ring and say that you will be expecting a phone call asap from her! They don't seem to think! It seems a bit unprofessional from the way you said the lass in the shop reacted! If I had been her I would have told you I would ring her straight away and find out what was happening!

OMG I am shaking with bloody anger!

Rang the shop back to see if she'd heard anything back and said she had and that she had received my email with the list of shots wanted and that she'd spoke to me before she went off on holiday (errrrr no she bloody didn't, it was weeks ago when I spoke to her last with the final payment!) and that she will ring me.

So I asked if she will ring me today and I was told "well that's what she told me"

So I didn't shout, just said that this was silly because she was meant to ring me this week to confirm everything and I hadn't heard a thing, and I was told "well that's the best I can do"

I said you do realise I'm getting married tomorrow and can't get hold of X and I need to know what's going on, and she told me not to get stroppy with her and that she was trying to run a shop!! Can you believe that!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't even bloody stroppy, I might have sounded pished off, but who wouldn't!

OMG!!!!!! Id be going mad at them and probably look around for someone else. Why is it when it comes to weddings people think they can treat you like poo when they have you money!!!!! Grrrrrr
