Yes, I would just to cross those t's and dot the i's.

You want to make sure you tell the judge that you WANT the property to be repossessed and provide your ORs details for all correspondence to be sent to. The last thing you want is for you to not turn up and the judge to make hold off proccedings for a while in case you wanted to attend but couldn't get there and not inform them in time etc.

Email the OR too and tell them of the date and that you are writing to the court to tell them you want a repossession and you are informing them just to keep then up to date.

Hi IDIS can I just ask did you do vol repo or have NR do repo? How long has it taken out of interest and is this beofre you're gone BR or after? Just helps me understand process and what we're going through?! We're due to do vol repo next week (sending keys back) and then BR a few days after. Just not sure how long to expect for NR to come and claim property after we've sent keys back?
    Cheers
  • vol reposession, we basically sent them an unsigned letter with the keys and told them that they could do what they wanted with the property, this was in July and we had stopped paying in the may, they sent us a letter to say please sign to acknowledge the debt otherwise we cant repossess the property in the beginning of august but we didn't sign it in case it was taken as a new debt. so its taken them about 6 months to get to a court case.

    hope that helps
