me and my patner are waitin 2 move into a house, he works and is getting £1000 a month. we will be claiming working tax credit as i have 2 children from a prev relationship and we have 1 together. the thing is his ex partner is saying that the csa dont take into account any other children that we have and he has to pay the full amount of csa for his eldest son, is this true? and how will they work things out?

Not sure why you folk are discussing CSA with the ex partner, anyways, assuming csa 2, the net wages andwtc/ ctc credit will be totalled then reduced by 25% for the children living with him, then 15% of that will be awarded to the ex for the previous child.

Just don't enter into any conversations about it with her. Let her believe what she wants.

The CSA will take into account your child, but they may also include any tax credits you receive for them too.

If she's harassing and sending abusive texts/ calls, report it to the police.

Use the online calculator on their website to see how much you will pay with the changes of circumstances.
