Many thanks for this, freebie_junkie! :T
Just a question though: you often told us about the great freebies and discounts you got as a Debenhams cardholder. I have been thinking about applying (one more card would not be a problem, I always pay the balance in full each month), and I would like to know more about the application process. The crucial questions: speaking from your experience, and from what you have heard from others, how easy is to get this card? Do they reject people a lot?

they didnt reject me and a lot of students get rejected for store cards i think, i pay my cards off each month too and have a good credsit rating (no debts except student loan) they use 'experian' as a credit checking agency and you can get a free report from them on a 30 day trial at teh minute (plus 330 piggypoints) you can cancel teh free trail afetr printing it off for your own reference.
you apply in store, any sales assistant can do it, i suggest waiting till one of teh christmas evenings as you get a really good goodie bag and 10% off for a week and if its christams shopping anyway, youll probably be buying more.
good luck:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -

If you are getting married and thinking about making a wedding list, Debenhams is a good place to register as you become eligible for a Debenhams Gold Card. This is normally only available to people who spend a Million pounds a year in Debenhams.
You get to use the "Gold Lounge" a room with free tea, coffee etc and they have lockers where you can offload your shopping and continue to shop till you drop!
