anyone know anywhere to get an original cheap complete with unused certificate of authenticity and licence number please.

that was my first port of call but it seems to be littered with dell hp and compac disks which claim not to need to be authenticated which as i understand it means you havent got a kosher version.

OEM versions are the cheapest available, at around half the price of boxed retail ones.

Many online retailers stock them. There's just one catch: you have to buy them with hardware. Fortunately, this usually involves simply buying something like a floppy disk drive or somesuch at the same time.

I've bought several OEM Win XP Pro from ebuyer. I buy lots of stuff from ebay but WOULDN'T normally buy software as the risk is too high. I do buy Norton applications via ebay but from only one trusted seller.
