I think it's to do with the likelihood to tell others, being in touch with family and friends via social networking, e-mail and participation in writing reviews and blogs.

Ive just had an email about an hour ago to say ive been accepted check your junk folder because i was just about to delete everything and noticed this email didnt look very spammy! lol
