Will you be my bridesmaid/flowergirl poems

Hi All

I am having my 3 neices as BM's/FG's, please can you help as Im not sure the age brackets!

Ages are 9,6,3 - which would be classed as a FG and which as BM? or would they all be FG's?

Also, Im looking for a nice poem to put in their 'will you be' cards, have searced online but they arent up to much.

Ideas greatly appreciated!X

I don't think that there any hard and fast rules as to at what age a flowergirl becomes a bridesmaid. My thoughts would be that the 9 year old could be a bridesmaid, as she will have the most responsibility (including helping to shepherd the younger ones down the aisle!), and the other two could be flower girls.

Again, it's entirely up to you - I'm only having one maid of honour, who should strictly speaking be called matron of honour as she is married - she'd absolutely throttle me if I dared call her that though!!

As for a poem, I've got to rush off in a bit or I would have had a longer search, but I did find this:

A little lady carries flowers
and brings a small bouquet
She helps us as we celebrate
a joyful wedding day
She is a princess in her gown
A picture come to life
She brings such joy in helping us
Become man and wife
We are glad that she can stand with us
So, graceful and so tall
and help make this special time
The very best of all.

If your sister is your bridesmaid (I have adapted this one to suit us but you can change it as it suits you):

My Maid of Honor
Our friendship just gets better through every passing year,

I cant remember the website I found these on but will have a search later on and see if I can find it again as I'm sure there are many more, these as just the ones I could use for my "non-bridesmaids" and flowergirls. HTH
