I have decided that I need some help in my push to get out of the mountains of debt we are in! I thought I would attempt a diary to help me concentrate and remember why I'm doing this.
A bit of background for those who don't know me...
My husband and I are approximatly £38k in debt, down from £53k at the highest point - 01/01/09 - never missed any payments, although its constantly one big struggle! Hubbie is in the army and I work for the Post Office, earn a decent wage between us and if it wasn't for the debt we could do so much, own a house, have holidays and maybe even start a family
I haven't been posting much recently as debt busting hasn't been as much of a priority as maybe it should. Over this past month we have never been so poor-I've never been this short of money in my entire life! Husband has had to go away on a course for a month, so we had to buy a lot of equipment for him to take and he had to take an amount of cash. This month I intend that things are going to be better!

Hi, you sound just like me and my hubby!
I really hope you manage to get everything sorted. I too have just decided to start a diary. I am hoping it will keep me motivated and on the right track.
Good luck, I'm sure we will all get there in the end xJust little old me!0 -

I used to think like this, still do a bit but from reading diaries on here I've learned that it's possible to do loads of things, you just have to be more creative about it. There are people on here who have an absolutely amazing quality of life on very little money.:)Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000
