I've just started a nail tech course too, and have a Sallys hair and beauty supplier where I am, they're selling off 'Mercia' brand and all the stuff is really cheap. I'm fully stocked up and won't need to get anything for a while.
maybe see if there is one near to you0 -
I'd recommend trying a few brands until you find one which you like and which offers you the ongoing support/training that you'll need to become a confident pro. The mistake that many people make is to train and then never go near another classroom. The nail industry is ever evolving with new products being offered all the time - things like MINX and shellac.
Another thing to bear in mind is that the difference between the cheapest and the industry leading brands is not as great as some people think when costed out per set.
Personally, I use CND.0 -
thanks both for the replies, i have bought the mercia tips but when i pre tailor them they dont seem to file away very well
ill have to look into cnd.
I did my training in sallys itself but the one near me does not stock a wide range only salon system and mercia:TIf your happy and you know it clap your hands :T0
