    Will forward to HR.

If they haven't been useful so far - I'm not sure that will help? You need to contact your HMRC office and arrange to let them have the P60 for 10-11 when you receive it in Apr / May of 2011.

Personally I would write ...... and quote both PAYE70023 and (below) EIM42290

I was out of the UK from before april 2009 to January 2010. But I didn't start work until March 2010.

I did actually ask them to pay me in March. But HR messed up telling me they missed the deadline with Paryrol.

I raised the issue of the overtaxing in May. But they ignored my query despite several times contacting them!

So you did not break residence in the UK and need to report worldwide income for the entire year on your 2009/10 tax return - whether or not you performed the work in the UK or were paid in the UK.
