Terms and Conditions


1. Open to all UK, CI, IoM and RoI residents except employees and their immediate families of VisitScotland, House of Fraser, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. Limited to one entry per household. No third party or bulk entries will be accepted.
3. Entrants under 18 require parental/guardian’s permission to take part & to be awarded prize.

7. All entries received will be entered into the prize draw to win the following: 1 x 2-nights’ stay for 2 adults at the 5-star Ingersetter self-catering lodge in Shetland. Stay is on a self-catering basis and must be taken by 30.04.11. Prize also includes 1 x meal for 2 people at the Queen’s Hotel, Lerwick to a maximum value of £50 excluding drinks and a tour of the Burra Bears workshop in East Burra and 1 x gift from Burra Bears – the bear provided will be at Burra Bears’ discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Prize also includes return flights for two people from Edinburgh Airport to Sumburgh Airport, Shetland; and car hire courtesy of Star Rent a Car.
9. Car should be collected from the Star Rent a Car desk at Sumburgh Airport. Car will be provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. A £250 insurance excess will apply in the case of a claim and credit card details will be held until the car is returned and the rental agreement closed. No other expenses are covered and the winner’s will be liable for any costs or legal action arising from the car rental.
10. Prize also includes £150 spending money and £100 maximum travel allowance. Travel allowance will be paid once the prizewinner provides full receipts. Amount payable will be at the Promoter’s discretion and will be to a maximum of £100 in total.
11. The prize does not include any travel insurance or any other expenses and must be taken in full by the 30.04.11.
12. The stay at Ingasetter, return flights and the car provided are strictly subject to availability and exclude Christmas, New Year, Up Helly Aa, Easter, public holidays and other selected dates.
13. All elements of prize package are subject to date availability, subject to change, are weather dependant and are subject to all prizefund provider standard operator terms and conditions.
14. The prize is as stated, is non-transferable and no cash or other alternative prize is available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the promoter reserves the right to provide a similar prize of equal or greater value.
15. One winner will be drawn at random under independent supervision from all entries received on 08.11.10 and notified in writing within 28 days of the closing date. The promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. Prize must be claimed within 28 days of notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeit of the prize and another winner will be drawn.
17. No responsibility can be taken for any entries that are lost or delayed or which are unable to be sent due to Internet connection issues or systems failure or anything else that prevents entries being received. Proof of online entry or postage does not constitute proof of delivery.
