mine was misaddressed but got them luckily are postie knew it was meant for us yippee very nice, did every one get wo? I was expected a few more but nvermind happy anyways.

I got mine this morning,but after much hassle. Postman rang on my door this afternoon and said he delivered a parcel to 24 Bury Street instead of 24 XXXXXX House, Bury Street, but it wasnt till after he delivered it that he remembered my name ( his son goes to my sons school, so i see him everyday) and went back to collect it from where he dropped it. A woman answered the door and he said he wanted the parcel back, to which she replied "its only a couple of glasses" the cow opened my parcel. The postman said does anybody live here called XXXXXXXXX (the name on the parcel, me) and she said "no but ive been getting lots of stuff addressed to her sent here". Now i'm mad as hell,:mad: :mad: :mad: I have never got a letter re directed here, eg not known at this address try 24 XXXXXX House,Bury Street. She ripped off the label, but what i wanted to know was :
on the label was there a senders address- you know like IF UNDELIVERED PLEASE RETURN TO: etc

I have a good mind to get her done for stealing other peoples post, especially if it turns out there was a return address on the parcel she opened. The parcel would not have fitted through the postbox,so she knowingly accepted it knowing it wasnt for her,why didnt she tell the postman,sorry the person thats addressed to doesnt live here???

Now my postcode is different to her postcode so why are they delivering there? Is it worth going to my local sorting office to speak to them about it?

Can someone send me a pic of the address label please,(blank out your address) so i can take this further and prove that the label did have a return address to send to in case of non delivery. Thanks much appreciated!!

Thanks to the first poster, mines arrived yesterday, and my 18 month old daughter is loving playing put and take with the sturdy box, so she's a happy bunny too!
