Spa days for men

Hi All,
Apologies if this is the wrong place, not sure where is the best place for it but am after some advice.
My OH birthday is 23rd Dec which is a horrible time and bless him no one has ever really made a fuss of him just as it's so close to Christmas. He himself this year claims he'll just go to work, bless!
I may have had a good idea but it may be terrible, I was thinking about booking a spa day for the 2 of us where he can go have a couple of treatments and chill out, with me there for moral support as i'm not sure he'd go on his own - might think its a bit girly!
Does anyone think this is a) a good idea or a terrible one and b) do you by any chance know of anywhere nice we could go?
We're in Kent and have a car so can travel.
I did look at the LAstmiunte offer at the moment for £20 but my concern is there don't you buy a voucher and then its subject to availability? I guess i could always call them first?
Any advice would be great!
