Hello rainbow & Welcome! - I just have a cuttlebug but I must confess I wish it were a bit bigger but haven't any experience of other machines. - You'll need some dies and/or embossing folders whatever type you go for.......
Hello little miss money saver & Welcome to you too - (this is probably the least MSE thread!) - I only have an oldish HP deskjet printer (HP5150) and it's fine for printing backing paper on the best print setting but I make sure I use decent, (at least 160gms) paper.
Pink Petticoat have lots of lovely paper downloads. HTH
rainmac - wouldn't you think someone who needs a pacemaker would need it done quickly? as you say, bureaucracy! grrr.....0 -

I was wondering if anyone downloads backing papers and prints them at home? Is an ordinary printer enough to get a good quality print? I've just got a cheapy printer atm.

My printer is an HP Deskjet - think it was £20 odd from Argos - does the job fine - if I want to print anything special I just change it to best
Sadie my prize arrived today - lots of yummy things in there Thank you - I'm amazed the envelope didn't split
Also got my new Belles & Whistles stamp direct from them in Hawaii - used to be called Claudia the artist when she was a Sugar Nellie - just hoping she's going to re release Daisy
Rainmac I hope you're not trying to encourage me to go spending on paypal???????? I'm trying to empty my house not restock it.
Did my first ever cut it out yourself decoupage card today - should have known it was gonna go all wrong when I didn't chop any bits off it.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Dragonllew, such sad news and sending huge hugs. Look up to the sky on the next clear night, your OH's nan will be sending a beam of starlight down to you. It always happens to those who are loved a lot.
rainmac?? what's all this old tosh about being a bad mum?? How comes with all the fabby things you do with your great little fellas and for them too. After you've cuttlebuggled her, PepPop and Marg , I'll pop her through the Calibur and emboss her too. Hope the young man gets sorted soon. Mind you OH has a similar problem now and again. I heard myself the other day as we went supermarket shopping (yuk! hate it!) asking him if he needed the toilet.DD was a wall climber if she saw a syringe coming near until she saw me not flinch after having a canula fitted in my hand. She puts on a brave face in front of her own three now.
Flourgirl, happy holidays:whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -

the craft barn even. I got little claires spikey flowers, if you want this one then you will have to ring them as it is in stock but for some reason will not go into the basket and this is the case with a few other items so don't think they are out of stock just because they won't go into your basket. can't wait to use it but need to do my friends baby card asap as he is a week old now.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -

This thread is great. I was directed here by F_F. The only trouble is, i've spent half the night perusing all things crafty on the t'internet rather than ironing!
Was much more fun thoughOne step at a time0 -

I print 90% of my stuff and a normal printer is great, just get one that you can change the quality of if you want something extra special. I've got and Epson SX515W and is wireless for my laptop. Works great (as long as OH isn't using his PS3 - then it can be temperamental)
Padster If your SIL works in George Square - has she spotted Brad Pitt yet?
 Hi to all newbees
Phew - finished all my dad's stuff and his present arrived tonight - thankyou mr DHL man. All set for the weekend. If I'm not on again till Monday, have a great weekend everyone0
