Morning all :) DD went back to nursery today, but I have been busy doing housework so not caught up :(

Flying Fresian I am going to Glasgow on the sat :j OH is taking me up there and I am already meeting Kerry (owner of Ladybug Crafts ink) up there to say hello, could exchange numbers with you and have a quick meet up if you want and are also going on the sat?? Is anyone else going?

Well done to the latest winner ;)

I ordered some Tim holtz dies from craft devils with the voucher I won. I am quite annoyed with them actually as I won a £10 voucher, but postage is £2.75 and the voucher can't be used on postage aswell, so thats £2.75 I have to pay out of my own pocket and then on top of that their minimum order is £12 so before you even get anything it is costing nearly £5 before you can even spend a £10 voucher which I won!! Is it just me that finds this wrong?

Flourgirl & Rainmac - Has the posty been yet? :j

That would be lovely if you're about! I'm coming over from Edinburgh in the morning and have to check into my hotel first (Big Night Oot that night!) so probably won't hit the SECC until late morning. I'm hoping I don't have to wait until the afternoon to check into the hotel or I'll be going around the SECC with a suitcase :D

    In annoying news...

I had ordered some things from the US (including my first MS punch, woo!) to go to a friend there who was then going to send them to the UK via her boyfriend. Sodding FedEx have returned them to the depot saying the address was incorrect even though it was fine. My friend has called Joann.com and they are trying to sort it out. Don't they understand that stash delays are not acceptable?!

I've never won a voucher Rusty but always wondered if you'd have to pay the postage. I'm with you on this one. If you've won a prize I think p+p should be included, might make the winner spend a bit more than the value of the voucher if the p+p was free. Oh, and you can keep the snow, please don't send it our way :rotfl: . We've got a bright sunny day at the moment but quite cold, needed my woolly bobble hat for walkies on the beach.

    Congrats on your win AliB.

Congrats to Mr & Mrs MadFrog.

DTB Sorry to hear you're poorly, healing hugs for you.

Haven't managed to make any cards yet. I've got one to blog but will try and find some challenges for it first.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILLOW :bdaycake:

I'm not sure if any one has the Crafters Companion newsletter? They have free p+p until 24 October. They're not the cheapest but they do have some offers on at the moment, some 3 for 2, some 50% off items and some freebies as in Buy This and Get That Free. There's also a free Popcorn stamp with every order. I've treated myself to some of the Centural Pearl paper and card while it's free p+p.

    Hugs to all.

Rusty Sorry I snipped you - I'm so with you on this one! You would think they would have offered a £15 voucher to take the post and minimum order into account. It's like Papermill, their box of card costs £29.99 but free postage starts at £30. Please ask OH to keep the snow - I think it's heading our way soon

    Congrat Ali B

Hugs DTB Hope you start to feel better soon.

    Oh noes :(

    Down, elves down.....

:rotfl:they are so so cute but I just can't stamp most of the time to save my life as my hands shake so I'm always paying people on Ebay stupid amounts of money for stamped images ... I guess that's Good News For Them :D .. make sure any of you that do sell yours let me know your usernames so I can search there first.. I get through a lot sometimes :( ... mess everything up with the shaky hands but I *refuse* to give up and just get another one.. :)

Ooohhh.... Wullie has gone up to 74 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!! Gary says he's researched it and they have gone for loads more at auction but wheee.... Hmmm wonder how much of a chunk Ebay are going to take for THAT... then take again through PayPal

The kids may be safe til Christmas at this rate! :rotfl:
    :j A-well-a bird, bird, bird...b-bird's the word :j

Well if I fail to resist temptation (And I suspect I will!) then I will send you some stamped images if you like!

Oh Dear! Puff!.... Puff! ..... Puff! I've been trying to catch up but the chesticles are letting me down, good job I didn't have the op on Monday as the chest is wheezing like a creaky gate blowing in the wind. Never mind, they've re-scheduled me for the 8th November so I will get me two weeks off before Christmas. YAY!!

It's been pretty busy in the Wifey's Parlour, my card count is up to 27 this month (19 all the sameish ain't too bad) and just another couple to go. Too many condolence cards this month! Right, wifey, get yer b*m in gear and catch up with the rest.

    Squeak, Wheeze!........ Squeak, Wheeze!
 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!
