Flourgirl that box is stunning it looks like wedgewood what a beautiful idea and so precise. well done on the design team place

Rusty I have already sent a card to Tomsmum

Mad frog- I have not tried chipboard through the bug, but at my craft shop demo they said "if you have to push too hard DONT DO IT!!!" I suppose it depends on how thick the chipboard is.

    Hey all,

Recieved 2 cards, one from Dragonllew & one from OAP! Thanks ladies :)

Flourgirl - Fab news about your DT position :j your cards are always beautiful so stop panicking!! my box was beautiful xxx

I am wondering if maybe it is easier for those who want to send cards to Tomsmum do so direct, as it seems quite a few have done so already? what do you think?

Waiting for OH to come home, I think I am on a comedown from last weekend cause really missed him this week and he was home tues from a course so only saw him a couple of days ago!

Flourgirl WOW stunning work - no wonder your got a spotlight. :T:T:T

MadFrog I remember reading somewhere that chipboard is what the American's call thick cardboard. I'd double check before you put our kind of chipboard through it and something snaps

Afternoon everyone! I've had a productive morning today although it doesn't look like I've done anything - I've tidied the dreaded cupboard at the top of the stairs - its where I stash all the stuff that I've bought for xmas presents! I've got loads so far - mainly toiletries but I'm so happy that I've made a start as we have loads to buy for!
I ordered a few candles from yankee doodle and they've just been delivered. Because I'm a scrooge I ordered loads of small ones and only one medium, but I'm really kicking myself now because the medium are such a better deal, I'm thinking of ordering a few more!
I also ordered some of the new bildmalarna stamps yesterday from here, I was originally thinking of pre-ordering them from dies to die for but they were £1 cheaper each here, fingers crossed they come tomorrow!

Soma - although the card is beautiful I can never understand why someone would pay so much for it!

Flourgirl - congrats on your DT position!!! The card and box that you made for Rusty are stunning - love the colours!

Good afternoon ladies, got a problem I cant solve, hope you can work out what it is I need. I am making a bookatrix card for my nephews wedding. I have the topper for the left hand side, but on the right I wanted to write their names and the date of the wedding. The card is in gold and cream but dont know how or where from I could print it in gold. The only application I have on my computer for writing with is a free cd I got with a magazine, do crafts I think. I dont have word or paint applications. Was just going to put their initials on with stick ons but wanted the date too. Hope you understand what I mean. Sorry for the long post.
    Thanks in anticipation.

you could maybe use gold letter peel offs? they are little stickers. Something like these

Mel - Well done on starting your christmas shopping, I started in Jan with the odd little bits, but when I realised how much I had put away for Maddisons birthday I ended up putting some of that away for christmas!!

Thanks for the reply Rusty. I have a few letter and number stick ons maybe I could put their initials on and the date in numerals.
