On a completely different note... I know some of you ladies have Kindles. I bought one last night (not a Kindle - a different make) and was wondering if any of you can point me in the direction of cheap (or Free ) ebooks? Thanks

Hope everyones well and the weather is good for you. warm here but not sunny.

Well had some news this morning adam got a letter to say his case is being transferred to a new surgeon in sheffield . The hole in his heart is larger than they thought and they were going to open his chest up but this new surgeon is confident that he can repair it by still going in through his leg. he will get an appointment for the new clinic sometime in july . Not bad for a request from the current surgeon last november for an emergency appointment as they thought it was getting bigger. so probably by the time he gets his op it'll be 12 months from when they upped him to urgent. Oh well at least things seem to be moving in the right direction now.

craftygranny I'm glad Adam's got an appointment. Not good news that the hole has got bigger but great that they can still fix it by going through his leg. Big hugs to you all.

Seeing this photo made me laugh as I was asked to do a birthday card with a hunky fireman on for a friends 30th birthday. I tried to google hunky fireman clip art and it took me to a !!!!!! site with naked men. I clicked off very quickly( honestly) just in case my husband got the wrong idea next time he went on the computer. Still not found a suitable picture.

We've been to a country park all day, I am knackered so shop bought pizza for tea Managed a slight detour to the Range on the way home and bought 2 paper pads and 2 knight's swords to keep the lil people happy

I have a Sony e-reader. You might like to start here There are an awful lot of classic books which are already in the public domain due to their age. I'm sure there is a link from mobile read taking you a library of them.

for some reason i have these in my craft folder :rotfl:they were for a friend card but not sure i used either image.
