:hello: Hi! choccy, good to see you. The challenge set by cardpaperscissors is red, white and blue with a circle, I think. Please, someone, let me know if I've got it right.

Grrrr! Spitting feathers! I was just about to put my card swaps into their envelopes when they fell apart, the glue must have gone off, Bum!

Has anyone seen a sort of ticket punch? I spotted one and for the life of me I just cant remember where.

G'night all! Sweet dreams, a nice cup of Vanilla Chai is calling.
 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!

Evening everyone - I thought I'd pop on and catch up! I managed to finish a card off today with my new MME pad - the papers are so pretty, I've just got to get round to blogging it now!

Pennib - your cards are lovely and I love all of your sock monkeys - you've got quite a clan there!

Rainmac - sorry to hear that your job is giving you trouble - I hope you get it sorted soon. Good luck with the teaching job - the school would be mad to turn you down after everything that you do for them already!

ZLS1984 - sorry to hear about your Nan. Your card is fab - love your colouring. I hope you get your housing situation sorted - we moved about 6 months ago and we're all so much happier - we didn't move that far away but the area is so much nicer and the house is much bigger - OH doesn't seem to be as stressed here which is fab!

    Artydoll - happy birthday!!!

    Twinkledust - happy wedding anniversary.

Fashionqueen - hi and welcome to the thread!

Viclspence - lovely Tilda cards - they're addictive aren't they - I never used to like them but I've got quite a few stamps now. Love your little suitcase - really cute!

Dawnteabag - I've just got the english tea party die and its fab. It takes a bit longer to use because you have to keep going over the die but the doilies are really pretty and delicate - I think I'm going to get the set of heart ones next.

Choccy - its great to hear from you!!!

We survived that night lol the dog who is called Rex was ok during the night not perfect but ok. He had his moments and jumped on us a few times but as I say it was not that bad.

Reports are that Gran may be out in the morning but we are not too sure, her Asthma is much more controlled now. To be ho t I do not know how she copes with Rex but I think he knows to behave for her.

Not going to be card making for a few days got an old project to finish been in box for long enough. I am making Sinead a patch work quilt.

It's very windy and dull here but hope it stays dry so I can get the washing dry.
I made 50 cards for the Help for Heroes event that I went to yesterday and only sold 7, so I am going to need to look at where I can sell them

Hope everyone has a good day, I am off to Argos now as DS dsi isn't charging and going to take it back

  • morning folks - not sure what's wrong with me lately - I don't seem to have the enthusiasm to read, write or comment on anything much, so apologies (and hugs) to those that have had birthdays, anniversaries, births, marriages, deaths, and any other life events.

I did some paint fusion painting yesterday, and the results have been bloggified. I've got this week off so hopefully will get the chance to actually make some cards. I'm off to Malvern for Quilts UK on Friday, but other than that have no plans.

Didn't get up til about 1.00pm and now I want to go back to bed. Perhaps another cup of tea, a shower and a walk in the fresh air will sort me out.

    xx

Thanks - I'm a long time sufferer with depression and kinda know the signs before a slump so make myslf do something - which I've done Went to the post office and posted 2 things I've sold. A book (through green metropolis) and a knitted phone cover (like the one on my bl*g)

I've got a couple of comissioned cards to make and of course the challenge card. Just need to clear enough space to do it, coz the table still has some painting stuff on it.

Oh and if anybody lives in or around Newport in the South Wales area, Caroles Crafts are planning to open a store in the town/city centre.
