Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Happy Easter one and all, I'm having a lovely afternoon, surrounded by stuff which I'm slowly sorting out. Most of it is non-craft relatd but I have just sorted out a big box of crayons, into water colour pencil crayons, non-water colour pencil crayons, and just pencils.
And C&C is on in the background - no more spending of me until my TopCashback payment comes through - asked for it as paypal so I can go wild to the tune of £35 (ish).
A couple of you have found my latest adventures in cyberspace but if you haven't there are a couple of new entries.

Hello all -just thought I'd pop in and see what you're all up to. You are a busy lot -can't keep up with you all..........lol
Things not so good here.OH's been to hospital to see consultant about his back and seems he's got two crumbling vertebra as well as fractured one. Consultant thinks he may be able to do some ''cementing'' -(not the building sort...........lol ) but depends on whether he can get the funding to do it. Back again in a fortnight so may know more then.
Friend of ours has brought round a little mobility scooter he's selling for someone........good price and nice size but I keep having second thoughts At the minute I couldn't get outside with it until occupational therapy sort out a ramp for the back door plus I've not yet been out without someone virtually holding my hand Cleaner takes me to supermarket once a week and I feel 'safe' knowing I've got someone with me.
Got a few more days to decide so might have another little go with it round the kitchen later.
Taken up knitting at the minute and now I'm on a baby blanket for foster daughters baby due in October. I want to do a little scrapbook for baby as well and memory box so any ideas are welcome.
rainmac - I used to live near Woburn.........you'll love it. Hope you have a good day:)
Hope you're all enjoying the weekend:)
Mary you need one you won't regret it. I bought mine reluctantly but now i wouldn't be without it. They do take a little while to get used to then you wonder how you did without it.
I just went up and down the street on mine till i got used to it. :TCross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Oh Mary, blimey lady, you two don't do things by halves do you. Sending you and Mr Mary lots of love and hugs xxx
We didn't get to Woburn yesterday, got sidetracked with OH's family but will go another day soon. Been to a country park today and then for a BBQ, had a brilliant time. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Hi all, hope everyone is out enjoying this amazing holiday weather we are having.
MAry - sorry to hear of OHs latest woes. I think you should definitely go for the scooter - I can just imagine you zooming about!
I've just posted a paper wreath (sounds much nicer than it is ) on my homepage - hope you like it. It was so quick so I can see a few being made around Christmas time - mini ones for teacher gifts hmm....
It was Jamie's 8th birthday yesterday. We had a lovely birthday picnic in the garden with the paddling pool and Granny and Grampy (my mum and DHs dad - we've both lost our other parent) and it was such a lovely family day. Today he's got his party - it's in a wood and involves den building and cooking sausages over a fire! The best thing about it is absolutely no prep for us - party bags are fairtrade bird whistles and pots of tomato seeds!
Have a lovely bank holiday everyone - I can't imagine how I'm going to get everyone back to school and work tomorrow!0 -
Happy birthday to Jamie! His party sounds fabulous Glittermum, everyone will have a great time xxx:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
