Afternoon ladies - you have all been so busy making fab cards!!! OH has taken the kids to his Mum's for a bit so I've just cleaned the floors and now I'm having a rest! I don't know if any of you remember but DS2 has learning problems and had to attend a special speech and language class at a different school 2 days a week. Well it was his last day there today - he now has the same language abilities as kids his age! I am so pleased for him - he's glad that he can now attend his mainstream school full time - I think he'd outgrown his other class, I'm just a little bit worried that he might get left behind at his normal school as his teachers have never been very supportive there. I got a bit teary when I read the goodbye note that his teacher had left for us - we've known her a few years now - Leo used to attend the same class. Leo still has to attend his class there full time but they think he might be able to finish in July.

There seems to be loads going on this week - appointments etc plus I've got some new bedroom furniture being delivered on Saturday - our old stuff is falling apart. I've been very clever though and ordered ready assembled stuff - I can't stand it when OH has to put furniture together - he gets so stressed - we always end up falling out!!!

Rainmac - congrats on your win, glad to hear that you survived the party and the dentist!!!!

Viclspence - Hope your knee is feeling better.

The-Wife - congrats on winning two challenges!!!! Beautiful Mother's Day card - the blue is so striking, love the flowers and ribbon together.

OAP1945 - Lovely baby cards - your easel cards are stunning - I love the delicate colours on the first and the teddies are so cute on the second. Your other card is fab too - love the image and the backing papers - which card did you send in the end?

Flying_Fresian - Gorgeous baby card - love the little feet - they're so cute, when was your s-i-l due? Fab cooking card too - love the backing paper. Congrats on your win too - fab prize!

Artydoll - Beautiful summery gorjuss card - all the embellishments work so well together. Great easter cards too - resally funny!!!!

ScattyJan - Congrats on your win too - a lovely card! Beautiful Mother's Day card - I love the colour of the flowers against the white background. Love your Easter card too - Snuffles is really cute and your flowers are really pretty.

PepPop - hope you get a good night's rest on your new mattress!

GeorgieGirl2012 - I'm really impressed with your knitted scarf and flower - lovely colours!

Soulie - I am so very sorry to hear about your brother - it must have been a terrible shock for you and your family, I'm glad that you've come back to us! Great candle and card - I'm really impressed with your candle - I haven't plucked up the courage to try and decorate one yet, and I bet your friend's Dad loves his card!

Jomama - Stunning delicate easel cards - what die did you use to make the doily circles? Gorgeous matching box too!

Flourgirl - hope it went okay yesterday, well as okay as it can.

Melissa That's fantastic news Melissa, you should be very proud of the pair of them. Hopefully school will start to be more patient with him once he goes full time, they tend to push kids to the bottom of the pile if they don't have to cope with problems!

Thank you, it was a shock that he went missing in the first place, so you can only imagine the shock when he was found. To be honest I think I am still in shock, just gotta take each day as it comes.

Thank you re. the candle, it took me a couple practice goes to get the hang of what to do and what to avoid lol, but now I am fairly confident when it comes to using the heat gun on it, and knowing when to stop, tis pretty easy really, unless you have dexterity problems!

I spent ages this afternoon trying to install and open the free cd 'favourites edition' I got with one of my crafting magazines....think some folks have mentioned it. It won't open for me :( Looks like it would have had some nice images on there aswell. Just my luck!!! Got it couple of weeks ago and thought I'd save playing with it till I had plenty time on my hands.....now I'm just grumpy!!!

    *strops off in huff*
