You really don't want to have asked that question lol!
I personally mostly use promarkers (I only have about 60 coz I'm good)although I sometimes use watercolour pencils or brushmarkers or paints or even eyeshadow (but that was a bit messy) some of the girls use copics but they really are expensive!
Whatever you buy you'll want more of - Sorry! This must be the most expensive moneysaving thread in the world ever
Hope you're feeling better soon dragon and stop dragon around sorry
I'm happy OH decided to go to the pub so I opened my parcel from Crafty Emma about 10 seconds after he shut the door :rotfl::rotfl: The new dovecraft back to basics are gorgeous as are tea party (wasn't really sure when I ordered them but would have been rude not to) my bild malarnas also arrive from bunny zoe - if he's out the way sometime over the weekend I'll sneak a piccyOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

:DWow what a day, thank you all so much for the birthday wishes, and cake photos and to everyone who sent me a birthday card/stash/gift. Each and every card is beautiful and I am just overwhelmed by how many of you have taken the time to sit and make one. What fab cyber friends I have
Thanks for the song Georgie – it was very sweet of you! My 15 year old rang and sang happy birthday to me down the phone. Trouble was he thought that I had answered the phone but I hadn’t my oldest son had so Harry put the phone on loud speaker for us all the hear when my friends and kids were over. It was so funny and my nephew was so embarrassed. Guess he won’t do that again :rotfl::rotfl:
I have had a fabulous day, with lots of gorgeous presents, 5 bouquets of flowers, so my house looks like a florist shop and it took me more than 30 minutes to get them all in vases.
I had 9 kids and 5 friends over for cake/cookies and rocky road (Rainmac - thanks for the recipe, it went down a storm) after school, and when they finally all went we got a Chinese takeaway, a bottle of wine, and I am well and truly stuffed!
I’ll blog all the cards sometime over the weekend.
Gutted to hear some of the papermill shops are closing, not sure what I will do for card now.
Thanks for the tip on a new mo manning freebie, managed to download it.
Hope you feel better soon Dragonllew.
Glad your boss has behaved herself today Padster – hope it lasts. Do you reckon someone has said something to her about her continual bad behaviour towards you and your colleagues? Your new stash sounds fab.
One of my friends has sent me some card blanks for my birthday (80 in total) which was a really sweet idea, but they are all 5 x 7 cards. Heavens know what kind of cards i’ll make with them as it is totally out of my comfort zone, so may have to try something at the weekend.
Work have sorted out my salary, they apologized for their error, will back date it to November when I started, so all in all I have had a really fabbie week
xxxx2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -

CT - just squeaked in in time to say Happy Birthday, hope you’ve had a great day - just read your update and sounds like your day was fantastic!
Squidge29 - thanks for the Poundland tip, that’s two things I have to look for now.
Rainmac - Enjoy the M&S Valentine meal - I’m hoping to get one tomorrow
dallam20 - lovely cards on your you-know-where - you have a new follower
Padster - LOL at your bruised chin comment - hope you successfully smuggle the Raisin (bag ?) in
Dragonllew - get well soon
bananagirl - I use Promarkers, started with some of the 5 sets that were half-price at Hobbycraft and have got quite a lot now, manage to sneak in 3 or 4 with every JS order. I’ve also got one or two Copics but they are more expensive.
Just managed to finish DH's Valentine card about 2 minutes before he walked in through the door, the one day he's been home early all week! Typical. Hopefully will put it on my bl*g on Monday - after he's seen it LOL. I need to get organised next week as I have about 3 cards I must make and also want to get a few in reserve. Have a good weekend all.0 -
Twice now I have lost my post! Grr!
Ok lets start again
Happy Birthday CT
Rainmac - Your bag is gorgeous, not suprised your OH hasnt noticed it yet
Cardpaperscissors - You can use something called ejection foam, see here. I have used it on my butterfly die and it works
Craftygranny - Good news about Carly!
Rusty - hope your finger gets better soon.
Thats all I remember, sorry if I missed anyone, hugs to all. xx
Thanks for this tip. Going to be really dim here. Do you just stick it on to the die and what sort of glue do you use?0 -
