I am going to ask a stupid question now :cool: With distress inks do you stamp with them or do you colour with them? I am asking because i have seen pads and bottles but haven't a clue about them but i like the effect they give. Also where is the best place to get them from?

KMS I've seen them used with make-up sponges - funnily enough I bought some sponges at lunchtime from Asda for 58p for 4 for mine if that's any help

So if i get a pad and dabbed the sponge in and then on the image that would distress it. Sorry to sound so dumb just want to make sure:o

Got one scrapbook totally done..........well they were both done apart from the quotes I was after to add to them them OH suggested I put 'Our Family' on the front.
Out came the ink and letters...........my first attempt and did I get in a pickle :eek: Honest you've never seen anything like it.........more ink on my fingers I think...............lol:rotfl:So, might have one more go tomorrow and if that doesn't work then I'll have some alphabets up for grabs.............lol

Birthday card done for my friends birthday so day not totally wasted......:)

KMS - how ridiculous that you can’t see your Dr until Tuesday. If I was you I’d go down there today anyway, and sit in reception until you are seen. Passing out is not normal, and you need to find out why it is happening. It kept, happening to me when I was pregnant with my oldest, and it was down to low blood sugar x

Elysia – I’ve made up all the orders I had to do, and am now concentrating on making my Christmas cards, so haven’t managed to make any other cards for the last few days, since doing the baby girl ones.

Louby-Lou-Lou – hope you managed to get some unbroken nights sleep really soon.

TomsMom – sorry the class didn’t work out for Poppy, but at least your tried it with her.

Addams – congratulations on winning the tickets to the Craft Show – more money to spend on stash!

Maybe back later, got to get ready to go to beavers with my youngest. Think we are doing a collage of food pictures tonight. Just cut loads out of food piccies out of a Tescos mag and it has made me feel really hungry.

Gggrrrr!!!1 You may remember a while back me having a whinge about my crop-a-dile not working. Well I returned it to Craft Superstore. Called them about an hour ago to check what was happening as hadn't heard anything and they said they had refunded but had not let me know because they did not have my email address ?????
Which is interesting given that I can see it on my customer profile there.
So I said I'd check my Credit Card - the cheeky monkeys have not refunded my original postage cost - nor the £5.10 it's cost me to send it back to them
And of course now, the office is closed until Monday - they'll regret leaving me to stew over the weekend!

Another thing while i remember :cool: I am after some of these. Does anyone have that die and be willing to do some for me? I would rather get them from a fellow MSEr Obviously i will pay for them. I need about 50, i'm not bothered about colour or anything, but i intend to use them as gift tags for my christmas presents.

KMS did you manage to get the labels you wanted? I have a die cut that does them but the end comes to a point it also cuts the hole for you to put something through to tie them on. Not sure if they are what you are after though.
