Just a quick heads up for anyone who hasn't already been and bought - Simply Cards & Papercraft have Molly Blooms Stamps as the freebie this month and one of the other mags has a freebie paperpack (??knightly). I swore I wasn't going to buy mags anymore, but couldn't resist the stamps!

I bought the mag in the week just for the stamps, they are gorgeous and I can't wait to use them ;) I also promised myself no more mags as I think they really are a waste of money :(

Wifey, congatulations on your pink bundle, count me in for babysitting too :)

Giggle, so sorry to read about your poor grandson, what a witch of a woman!!! Hope you got on ok when you went into school x

It's DS2's birthday today so we were up really early to make sure he could enjoy opening his pressies and have breakfast before going on the school run. He has some lovely new toys, god only knows where they are going to 'live' as since Xmas we are bursting at the seams :p Got his party tomorrow, he is so excited bless him :)

Does anyone know where I can get the photo corner punch by Martha Stewart, haven't been able to find it. It's featured on cards in the mag with the Molly Blooms stamps and I really like it.

I too need to loose some weight :(, I have ballooned since having DS2. I know I will be carp about cutting back in the cold weather so going to wait until the spring when eating salad all the time is not such a daunting prospect and go for it then. Good luck to everyone who's doing it now :D

I need to just get motivated to actually make a start, I was supposed to start on Monday just gone .... but I am being a good mum and not letting the children eat the 2 x massive bars of galaxy, need to get rid of all of these xmas sweeties before I start!

Humph tell me about it - I've got 10 boxes of chocolates in my kitchen (if anyone wants one let me know) and I'm not telling how many I had on Christmas day. Just had a thought - I wonder if I could freeze them?? OH always has bars of chocolate kicking about - he's takes them to work cos it's a really physical job and he needs the sugar. Oh and I've spent all night eating rubbish

    IT STARTS TOMORROW!!!!

Wifey Ready and standing at attention if required :) oh and I found this for you...

Off for a jaunt round Blogland (will someone please lock my kitchen and throw the key away or I'm gonna eat my own bodyweight in junk food)

Not a bad idea Georgie - I spend all day on the net for work and am a master googler :p
  • Evening everyone - still managing to read along on the thread. Just wanted to say huge congrats to Wifey.

I too need to lose weight - I thought I was 12.5 stone a couple of months before Xmas, stepped on the scales to find I was 13.5 stone :eek::eek:. Diet followed quickly at that point and I lost 12 pounds :T; Xmas followed and I put 5 pounds back on :(. I'm going to tackle this in half stone stages. So, currently 13 stone, first target 12.5 stone.

Just bought dd's Prom dress today - I've been a right grump about the expense of this "imported American tradition" all year but seeing her in her dress, my heart melted - she was stunning :D (so she should have been at £245 ). Can't wait to go shopping for the shoes and bag now :rotfl:.

Hope everyone is well, hugs to all, Thriftyxxx

    - not sure choccie will freeze, but see no reason why not other than it might develop a bloom - but would still be edible

Thrifty - I have to say these proms cost a small fortune, but the kids do look so gorgeous. Seems like a good idea to tackle our task in chunks like that - it doesn't sound quite so daunting
