I'm safely home, driving out of my estate was so scary as the roads were like sheets of ice. The meeting went pretty well and I now have help from the committee for the Xmas fair next weekend whereas up to now it has all been down to me, I was getting a bit panicky  I have agreed to be staff liason officer for the preschool, god knows why, I already do a lot but it's the same old story that nobody else will :(

    Sweet dreams everyone xxx

Rainmac - glad you are home safe. It's always the same isn't it - if you want something doing ask a busy person. I bet you'll be good at it though.

Flourgirl - so sorry, no entry from me - card is ready & photographed but not had time to blog it. One of these days I catch up with myself! :o
  • just to keep you all up to date, my mum is now at home. however she has decided she is well, as the hospital discharged and she keeps doing too much and suffering the consequences. but at least she is no longer ill enough to warrant being in hospital. just got to tie her down i think! oh and hide her phone because she keeps having delusional moments and phoning me to investigate things with the police..... but then at least she phones later to say she was having a moment!

Great news that your mum is home CG, if you find something suitable to tie her down please let me know cos I could do with something to tie my boys down from time to time xxx

Stay safe everyone, I am staying at home today (OH has taken DS1 to school). Hoping to have a bit of a sort out so I know what presents are where when it comes to wrapping them later in the week. I have forgotten what I have bought and where I have stashed it!

What a shame :(, best that everyone stays safe though. We are supposed to be meeting my brother and his OH for lunch on Sunday sort of Oxford way, have everything crossed that we can all still make it as it will be the last time I see them before their baby is born (due 7th Jan) but don't want any of us driving if it isn't safe.
