    Congratulations dragonllew.

Curly - Glad you managed to get some stash. Its quite addictive this buying lark, just remember you have to make something as well! Hope to see some of your creations soon.

I won a few prizes in the OSAAT saturday competition. I guessed 315 digis in the shop and it was 316! Cant quite believe how close I got!

Anyway, just off for a blog hop and need to get some tea sorted for the kids.

Congrats to you on your win!!!
well i've been to Chester for the weekend with DH on a coach trip. we spent sat in chester, then went to a random hotel in north wales. today we went to Cheshire oaks and i found the paper mill shop. they had a daisy and dandelion set with stamps, stickers, peel offs, decoupage and loads more. it cost £25 but i think i'll get loads of cards from it. i'll take a picture of it at some point x

Sounds like you had a lovely time then and craft shops thrown in as well - what more could you ask for!!!!

Congrats to dragonllew on your win and to the other winner!!! Well done winners! As they say here in the US - 'Good Job'!:T

    Happy Birthday to Furrypig

OMG what freak weather we have had here today. I had a craft fair and pardon the pun but it was a complete wash out. Roads started to flood and no one was going to come out in that. I was sat to some lovley ladies that were selling cards and time went quite quick so it wasn't so bad.

Off to do some catching up. I feel i am completely out the loop at the mo.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

  • I've just been to a card feast day which was loads of fun. I'm s'posed to be making some Christmas cards, but not really in the mood, so thought I'd pop on here and try and keep up. :)

    Happy Birthday Furrypig

Congratulations to Scatty, Dragonlew, Addams, Jellybaby and any other recent winners.

    - I wished you'd said about the easel, I'd have sent you one.

Myz - hope your week perks up

Glittermum - I'm not sure what has happened, but I seem to have dropped off of your followers list and each time I click on follow I get an error message?? Blogger is pain in the B** atm, I keep getting error messages when I try to leave comments and I'm also getting masses of posts appear approx 24 hours after they've been posted? I replied to your email, hope it made sense. Re the shaving brush, have you tried stippling with it, you get a nice effect, really looking forward to seeing your work.

    Hope everyone else is OK.

Hi all, sorry can't keep up at the mo, got pages and pages to catch up on :o. My mum's op went well but she was kept in hospital for a few days as she has a funny turn and was told it could have been a mini stroke but then told by another doctor that it wasn't. So only one is right and my mum is so worried. She has been let out and told to take things really easy. A close friend of mine is currently nursing her mum through the latter stages of terminal cancer, I feel so completely helpless. On a lighter note another friend has just had a baby boy and ooohhh he's so gorgeous, those broody feelings were rampaging when I went to see him ;). We've had a full-on weekend of rugby tournemounts with DS1, his team came away today with runner's up trophies, their little faces were a picture. Anyway, things are a bit on top of me at the minute, please bear with me and I'll get back properly soon x

Furrypig, hope you have had a great day xxx

Wanna-b-rich, huge congratulations to you, I'd love to come see you demonstrating what you do with inks and stamps xxx

Well done to all the latest winners :j

I've just posted the Crafty Place card swap details for thi month, the theme is as easy as it gets ;).

  • Hello, it's been a long time since I've been on this thread as I've given up card making for scrapbooking, but I said I'd make my mum a handbag card for a special birthday for someone...wondered if anyone has made one before and could share photos? Or even better share a template that they've tried and tested?

    Evening everyone,

Congratulations to all the winners, :) you are such a talented bunch .

Hugs to everyone that needs them

Happy birthday furrypig your card will be on its way tomorrow,

I'm finding it hard to keep up at the moment, life is just manic, and I'm so looking forward to half term, we are in the process of clearing the loft to make it into a sort of craft room ( meaning all my stuff will be going up there and I can craft ) but it will be not an official room, I'm so excited we had the electrics put in on Thursday just have to reinforce the floor, insulate and clear some more stuff decorate and I'll be sorted,

We went to Swindon today and I popped into hobbycraft and came out with a magazine, but I did get a load of card in the papermill shop I'm getting into making my own card blanks now, I have made a couple of cards this evening and will blog them in the week along with my stash I got at Exeter,

    take care

Hello I'm struggling to keep up at the moment especially with blogs sorry & my brain is a more scrambled than usual so forgive me if I don't mention you individually.

Well Done to our latest winners.

Thank you Wanna-B for your kind thought - it never crossed my mind to mention it.

rainmac - sorry to hear about your Mum's funny turn, hope she gets better soon and it was just a funny turn. If she is still worried and feels up to it she should ask for further tests to find out if it was a mini stroke.

helping hubby - I've never done shaped cards - sorry.

    Bed time -
