What a horrible thing to happen, so sorry Choccie. Re the card, what about a simple white card with a butterfly and simple sentiment like deepest sympathy - not very imaginative I know, but what can you say in these circumstances? x0

Morning,
Sorry for the long absence, I don;t know where the time is going , and I'm sorry but I'm way behind on sending birthday cards I will try and get them in the post tomorrow so belated happy Birthday to everyone,
Choccy I'm so sorry to hear about your friends loss, maybe a simple punched bird (something like the stampin up one) and a sentiment,
Congratulations to all the winners DT members and hugs to all that needs them, Life just seems really hectic at the moment, and time is not on my side, I have made a bulk of christmas cards though and made the teachers gifts so that is a bonus, and I just have to finish off the sock monkeys for the children for christmas, and I think I may make the christmas cake tonight, I just love the smell of it baking hope everyone else is doing okTake care Jo x0 -
Choccy - thats very sad. How about a thinking of you card, with just the letters, no picture?
Emzy - I have a big shot, but did look into an electronic one, just couldnt afford it at the moment! I was planning on getting a robo - mainly because you didnt need cartridges to use it for patterns. Don't know if that helps. As said Craftfaries may be able to help more.

Hi Choccy,
So sorry to read about your friends son, it is heartbreaking.
I found this card on the net the other day, and like WBR suggested, it may work as a sympathy card too. I loved it so much when I saw it that I have bought the nesties to recreate it as s sympathy card.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -

That's so sad, what about a simple card but a message inside saying you will be there for her day or night if she wants to talk0 -
Choccy I wouldn't know where to begin with such a tough task. I think the example CT has shown is lovely and would fit but am bound to say that it wont be what's on the card that matters to his Mum but that you do something. ((Hugs)) for you and your friend x0

xxSo much for 'Money Saving'0 -
Oh Choccy, how sad. Massive hugs to you, your friend and families. I think the card CT linked to would be perfect, I love the idea of the butterfly instead of the usual flowers. The important thing is just to be there for your friend when she is ready. xxxxxx0

Choccy How tragic and very sad for your friend. I agree that something like the beautiful card CT linked to would be perfect, it's so much more difficult when it's a child. Thinking of you all.
I was hoping to make a card today with one of the cat digis that two of you lovely ladies have helped me with. Not sure if the day will go to plan as I have a friend coming for a cuppa and a natter soon and as it's such a lovely sunny day I'll be taking Poppy to the beach. Fingers crossed I can get up to my craft room before the daylight goes, the electric light in that room is no good for crafting.
OH had his appointment with the new consultant yesterday. He is to go back for more scans next week, these scans will be fed into the computer which then works out where to target the radiotherapy. His treatment will start in two weeks if all goes to plan. One of the lumps in his chest is pressing on his windpipe so they need to try and shrink that quickly before it causes problems with his breathing. He will have four weeks of radiotherapy, the last session will be Christmas Eve. At least if they keep him in, which is possible because of the distance we live away from the hospital but not promised, he will be home for Christmas.
Hope you all have a nice day with the sunshine we're having.
Hugs to all.0
