The cards everyone has blobbed are great!
I've been asked to make my first card for someone- I'm having a bit of a wobble!I hope it will be ok and the recipient likes it!

Wifey- I'm glad it was colourful and hope you are ok.

Oh flourgirl, can you put me down for a berth? - I promise I wont snore! And if it's a holiday I can bring some sticks of rock. :D Have you started collecting your Copics yet? Are you having the Ciao's or getting the posh ones like Rusty's?

Wifey - I bet your friend's funeral was quite a heartwarming sight. We went to a traditional black dressed one today, a neighbour of ours, who was only a few years older than us - certainly makes you stop & take stock........

Rainmac & Madfrog - My dentist appointment means I have to have a filling to repair a broken tooth, quite a relief in a way as I've had 2 out in the last 12 months:eek:
Sorry to say no card making going on here at the moment - still on holiday catch up.......
  • LOL - custard slices rather than buns and I'm there lol!

The main thing I learnt was to get decent shading you need to blend 3 colours - which colours is a bit of trial and error at the mo - orange tango bears are not a good look :c)

Have day off today so was going to have a lie in - guess who was wide awake at half 6 grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - wish me luck DD is taking me to Primark - am going to be a bag lady for the day :rotfl:

If there are buns about I'm coming too :D Unlike Marg, I can't promise I won't snore as OH says I do (sometimes) so I'll bring the boys' pop up tent for me ;)

Wifey, sounds like a very fitting send off for your friend xxx

    Enjoy Primark Padster :)

Jellie, don't worry about the card. They wouldn't have asked you if they didn't want a 'Jellie card' would they x

Oh! A cream bun, can I come too please, flourgirl and the Padster can give us both a lesson. You all know the saying "Have bun, Wifey will travel" :D

If there are cream buns on offer I think we'll all be there (Flourgirl please don't tell the Thrify Weight Loss girls I said that :A) What about a crafting Grand Tour - I've got an 8-man tent - at this rate it'll be a festival :rotfl::rotfl: "C(raft) in the Park" :rotfl::rotfl: I'll get me coat

Padster Should you not be having something with marmalade :rotfl:

Wifey I'm glad your friend's funeral went well. It was really nice of them all to wear red and purple - it must have been lovely to see. I always think funerals should be a celebration of a persons life, not doom and gloom, that's what I would like anyway.

Got a card to make tonight for an order for tomorrow - can someone please loan me their mojo - I think mine has gone on a six month world cruise  That's what I get for getting the dates wrong - must be more organised (yeah right!)

Forgot to say, I don't do camping, but I went for lunch with my parents to Cleveleys last week, and noticed the hotel we went to does a craft weekend. I asked my parents why they'd never told me about it - their answer was they knew how much money I'd spend :rotfl:
  • I'll do marmalade so long as it doesn't have the shreddy bits in - can bear them :p and I only like raspberry jam with no pips in (just in case anyone suggests a victoria sponge )- not that I'm fussy or anything :rotfl:

I'll camp out in a Holiday Inn - only for the points of course :rotfl:

Hi Skiergirl - Are you left handed by any chance? I had an ATG gun, and couldn't get on with it as it was leaving lumps on what I was trying to glue, and put it down to being left handed, and therefore couldn't apply an even pressure to leave a perfect line of glue. Back to using DST for me.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
