I only eat chocolate cake lol

So tired today been and got decortations for the house and stuff for Sineads birthday cake. Her birthday is next week but I like to do things with time in hand, rather than leave them to the last minute. The cakes bits cost a bit and I still got to get the eggs and butter and sugar. Its a 2 tier cake so going to take a lot as the bottom cake is an 8oz and the top cake is a 4oz. Bare in mind there is only me, my dad and Sinead that eat this cake lol but I like to make a special cake every year.

Sounds like you need to invite Wifey for some cake-diving :rotfl:

munchkinz I wish I could make cakes like that ;) Nope snagged the pic from the net

Lots of sleep last night so feeling more with it today. Of for a wander round the net - catch you all later

Rainmac OUCH! Hope DS' eye gets better soon.

I've decided not to go to the LOTV class in October. I can just about afford it, but should probably spend the money on more sensible things. I'm going to save up for their next one - these things tend to be more enjoyable without guilt :D

Have a look online for tutorials, there are loads, this lady has some nice basic ones for Promarkers and UTube is full of tuts for using markers. Not the same as being taught by Bev and Jacqui I know but is an MSE alternative ;)

Zoe, sorry you're having a carp day :( Why not loose yourself making something for a bit x

I am so jealous of you going on the course, I'd love to go but bit far from me and my OH would have a fit at me signing up to be taught how to colour in ;)

Thanks! I will look at them tonight and give some of the techniques a go. My colouring isn't awful, but I would love to colour hair/skintones a bit more realistically.

Mine thinks I'm barking, but he's really supportive thankfully. As he isn't working at the moment and I look after all the bills he just tells me to spend any spare money on something that makes me happy :D I have decided to not go to this one but will spend the money at the SECC instead ;)

    Hi all :D ...

Rainmac - Hope your DS is ok? ... What wee problems is he having? do you mean wee as in small? or something else? sorry I might have missed original post! ...

Padster - the classes with Bev are well worth it, Bev is funny, especially if you are like me and sit and complain that you cant do it ... she threatened me on sat when I went to an easel class said she was going to split me and another woman up cause we cause trouble lol ... she is lovely though, so dont worry, she teaches you everything!!

ZLS ... Want me to come meet your doctor? that will show him overweight lol ... you are so not overweight, some doctors must get commission to say that I am sure of it!!

The-Wife ... thanks for my post ... x 2 lol ... they both arrived at the same time!

Well Maddison had her induction today just an hour with me, and she loved it and wants to go back tomorrow!! ... which I think is a breakthrough considering she told OH yesterday on the phone that she was staying at home and playing with her princesses!! ...

I can show how to colour in faces using copics if it will help anyone? can do pics and step by step. just let me know if anyone is interested, I am far from a pro, but if I can do it then anyone can! .. xx

Oooh I meant to mention earlier on ... I got a message from the owner of my local craft shop saying she has a proposition for me ... but is making me wait until later ... now in the past her and her mum (co owner) have asked me to cover sickness for craft classes and I have refused as I am not that good ... so I am curious to what she wants

I'm a Promarker user, but if you can do a step by step then I can figure it out from there :D

Thanks every one, feeling really fed up now so will make another card to make me feel all better.

The Dr weighed me and said I was still 12 stone so even though I felt good about myself it shows that I am not loosing weight liKe I thought. She did say that I could have been heavier and just lost the extra and that it would not hurt for me to loose weight as I am 2 stone over weight.

Thanks again to my Mystery Fairy off to use my present to make me feel so much better.

Ooohhh that sounds fab  Can't wait to find out what it's all about x I did mean wee as in wee, long story but it's being addressed now. Fab news about your DD at school. My DS2 doesn't start until next Wednesday, that will hopefully give him time to get rid of the black eye he currently has :o

Zoe, don't take what your doctor says to heart. Your happiness and wellbeing is important so if you are comfortable as you are then you're fine. I am overweight and have never been told I should loose weight by a GP.
