Hi all, I'm home and fighting with washing and ironing!! we did cut our holiday veryshort but hey ho never mind :( The parcel of wedding stuff turned up on MY doorstep!! well behind the dustbin really:eek: I felt so lucky it had been returned I dreaded it being posted again, however its reached plymouth this time, at least the next bits I can take with me when we go to the wedding! Anyway guess what........it was all my fault :o I put the address as 71 and its 70 :o royal mail just returned it as no such address even though its their friends who live at 71, DH thinks it something to do with the postcode not matching the number  My excuse is that I felt really stressed out before my hols :p (stoopid mare) It did cost me a lot of worry and sleep when it went missing!!

Rainmac I am so sorry we didn't get to meet up but I had it in my head to see you this week and of course we are home now. I told DH we will just have to make a special trip sometime to make up for it. Huge congratulations on your DT post, I knew you could do it, you will be a great asset to the team. Well Done :j:j:j

Not read all the posts yet but wanted to say hugs to all who need one and especially viclspence, thinking about you and your family xxxx

I have missed you all, I didn't have much of a mobile signal so taking the laptop was a bit of a waste of time so lots of reading for me to do later and then try and catch up with the blogs. I will get there....

Is anyone thinking about going to the LOTV masterclass in Leeds in October? It's a bit of a trip for me, but I really fancy going...:o
  • What kind of fantastic news Flourgirl - at least they turned up and didn't disappear into the RM black hole. Plus they could have turned up the day after you completed the next lot - although it would have given you something to torch in anger lol!

Have they still got places on the LOTV course? Hmmmmm am very tempted now thought it would be full in minutes isn't that far from here expecially in OH's company car lol!

  • Well folks, given that it appears I'm a winner then it must be my turn to set a challenge.

Last time I set a challenge I was about to apply for my job - so set a "Good luck" challenge.

This time I have just been notified that I have my job. So I thought about "Congratulations" or "New Beginnings" but I've decided to go with "Change"

And I've decided that it can also be interpreted in any way you like. So it could be a change of job, a change of house, a change of circumstances, a change of clothes.

So put your thinking cap on and have some fun.

Closing date is yet to be finalised, but will be in about 2 weeks.
  • Thanks for the challenge Georgie - have no idea what to do - will have a think
