    Not sure what you mean Graham, IF you mean that MP's show little class themselves (which would be a generalisation of course) then I still think would be FTB has a point. Just because you deal with someone who belongs in the gutter doesn't necessarily mean you have to lower your own standards and climb into the gutter yourself (especially in the first instance).

    I think he/she has a point. Afterall how many letters have you fired off in that manner (or perhaps you often use the 'F' word to strangers?). I take it the OP is not a LL where huge amounts of diplomacy is often required.

    Ok, I'm confused. What's landlords & FTB's, and dealing with someone in the gutter got to do with anything?

    FTB - would_be_FTB is the poster you are reffering to with your initial post on this thread

    LL - Doesn't nearlynew (OP) own 2 properties so presumably a LL (perhaps I am wrong)

    Ahhh, see what you mean now. Didn't even read the poster above me.

    I said I loved the touch of class because there wasn't any, which is what amused me. I dont think the OP is to be taken too seriously ;)

    It's ok I am calm, I think Graham had a point about it being unclear. so I took the time to explain, it wasn't a rant, but it was done quickly as I about to leave to get my train to London (oh the joys of commuting, not)
