PMSL. Like the touch of class

Not sure what you mean Graham, IF you mean that MP's show little class themselves (which would be a generalisation of course) then I still think would be FTB has a point. Just because you deal with someone who belongs in the gutter doesn't necessarily mean you have to lower your own standards and climb into the gutter yourself (especially in the first instance).
I think he/she has a point. Afterall how many letters have you fired off in that manner (or perhaps you often use the 'F' word to strangers?). I take it the OP is not a LL where huge amounts of diplomacy is often required.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Ok, I'm confused. What's landlords & FTB's, and dealing with someone in the gutter got to do with anything?0 -

FTB - would_be_FTB is the poster you are reffering to with your initial post on this thread
LL - Doesn't nearlynew (OP) own 2 properties so presumably a LL (perhaps I am wrong)
Dealing with someone in the gutter - reference to using the F word in the first instance as 'lowering yourself to someone's level', i.e. in the gutter. Rather than maintaining a professional attitude/approach.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Ahhh, see what you mean now. Didn't even read the poster above me.
I said I loved the touch of class because there wasn't any, which is what amused me. I dont think the OP is to be taken too seriously

nearlynew,
Are you going to stand as an independent MP at your next local election? Are you forming your own local action group? Do you represent your community in any way?
If not, then your outbursts are no more profound than those of a bedraggled, Special Brew soaked tramp shouting at sparrows in the park. They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -

It's ok I am calm, I think Graham had a point about it being unclear. so I took the time to explain, it wasn't a rant, but it was done quickly as I about to leave to get my train to London (oh the joys of commuting, not)Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0
