Does anyone know how to remove?
It does not say permenant on the pen which is now in the bin and my oak finish desk has a mark about 4" long on it.
AHHHHHHHHH
Any ideas?

Try acetone (nail varnish remover will do assuming you don't have pure acetone which it's likely you don't). I think it is probably a permanent stain though (CD markers are permanent marker). If the desk is varnished you may be lucky enough that only the varnish has stained in which case you may be able to strip the varnish off and re-varnish it. If the desk is unvarnished or the stain has penetrated beyond the varnish into the surface of the wood you will need to sand it back with a fine grade paper.0

My OH spilt aquariam white spot treatment on our teak cabinet. It stained it bright blue. The only thing that got it off was isopropyl alcohol.0
