Anyone know what they are like to work for? Also what their interviews are like? I have an interview tomorrow.

Not too sure what position - they have a few vacancies apparently. It's for the Chelmsford store. The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0

Hey there,
How did the interview go?Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
Got the job!
Brilliant interview - just a nice friendly chat with the Assistant Manager - and we sat in the coffe bar rather than her office!! Bit different to all these companies that want to give you group tasks, role playing, 3 hour interviews! Was there half an hour in total. We chatted, she asked me what hours I wanted to work and how many a week. Agreed to exactly what I asked for - only have to work alternate Saturdays. Not got a start date yet but it will be in the next 2 weeks. I am quite looking forward to it if the interview is anything to go by.The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -
Hey that sounds great for you. I had an interview like that when I first started with WHS - just a talk with the assistant manager. Normally they did role playing and long interviews even for weekend staff - I normally hated these but I guess they show the employer what you are like.
Anyway hope you like working for WHSWeight Loss - 102lb0 -

Thanks. Yes I do get some sort of discount but forgot to ask how much!! I think I was in shock that she offered me the job there and then after just a chat! When she rings to give me my start date I will ask her.
My spending weaknesses are CD's and books so any discount will be handyThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -
When I started working for them the discount was 25% on most stuff except for lottery, stamps, phonecards, food, drinks, tobacco, multibuys and link buys. Then before I finished working for them the discount went down to 12.5% across everything except stamps, lottery, phonecards and tobacco.Weight Loss - 102lb0
