mortgage with bad credit history

Hi

I got in to debt 3 years or so around £3000 give or take, I Have now paid it all off this year everything. but i wanna get a mortgage. we have the deposit and my partner has a clean credit history.

DO you think I will be aloud a mortgage??

    What's your credit file like? Having had debt which is paid off wouldn't be a problem, but late payments or defaults would be.

    i have 20 % deposit and the property is £109,995

    there was a defult on there and a of course latepayments but all are paid off now
