Good deal on Logitech Laser Mouse!!

I recently got the E-mail Newsletter from Morgan Computers and they have the Logitech MX1000 for just under 30 quid including VAT!! I have two of these mice and they are really great even for a bit of gaming!!

They still sell for 35-40 quid in most shops too!! This includes online ones!!

CTF - Can you comment on the build quality please.
Logitech are normally good but I recently purchased an MX610 Llaser mouse on offer from PC World. I subsequently returned it as I wasn't impressed with it as it appeared to be of very cheap quality although it did look very stylish.

Also, can you advise in which shops this mouse is available for £35 as that is comparable to the Morgan price including VAT and delivery (£34.06).

    Thanks in advance.
  • I'm still using this mouse after having it for well over a year. Can't fault it. It's very accurate, works on shinny desk surfaces and it nicely sits in your hand.

The MX1000 came out when I was in Florida a few years back so I bought one from CompUSA for a shade over a hundered dollars. Ive since had an MX518, and now a G5. I always stick with Logitech mice, they have served me well so deserve my continued business.
The MX1000 was a pretty decent mouse, the battery life was extraordinarily long, and the build quality was high. I did find out that I didnt really like cordless mice though, hence the 2 other mice ive owned since.
The MX1000 is still in use on my "B" machine now though.
  • I would regard build quality as being quite good!! However this mouse is more suited for right handed users though!!

I meant online shops!! I think I saw it for 35 quid at Currys Digital though a while back. However I think the price has gone up since then. The price on the PC World website is 40 quid without delivery!

It is still 800dpi like the MX610 but has its own rechargeable battery pack and cradle.

I also only ever buy logitech mice as I regard them as the Rolls Royce of input devices (take a look at the new Revolution mx!).

You'll find a slew of reviews on the web for further info on this MX1000: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hs=T04&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-GB%3Aofficial_s&q=logitech+mx1000+review&btnG=Search&meta=

Just bought this mouse, the total of my order is £34.04.

So, the website's price is incorrect.

A nice little bargain is this.

EDIT: Please note, Morgan currently have no vouchers or promotional codes (I called and checked), so that's what you'll have to pay.
  • I think that they have just changed the description a bit too!! I have a feeling that one of their people maybe keeping a tab on this website!! Very pro-active!!
