Don't forget if your dog is over 7 years old you can buy the senior range. Why could you not order the pouches fairymoneysaver?
I have just checked the site and you can still get buy one get one free puppy kibble, junior kibble, adult food in some flavours (although stocks are limited), senior kibble and a variety of kibbles for larger breeds so there is still plenty to choose from.
Don't forget this offer is available for cats too!0 -
There were only 2 flavour pouches available and one kept coming up error, the other said there was not enough to order 72 pouches. One of the adult kibble only has one bag left, no good for bogof.
I was going to order junior for my 8 month old terrier but on the bags it says move small dogs straight onto adult after 6 months, he is just finishing his last bag of puppy so wasn't sure whether to go for junior or not.0 -
Junior food should be fine for an 8 month old terrier. I would consider Junior kibble as a kind of go between as you change from one food type to another. Smaller dogs don't need the junior stage because they are fully grown at an earlier age than larger breeds but it certainly won't do them any harm. I mix meat with the complete kibble anyway so my dog isn't getting the exact balance of nutrients the kibble would normally provide (hope that makes sense). Having said all of that I wouldn't give a puppy senior food and I wouldn't give an elderly dog puppy food. There is more about it on the James Wellbeloved website:

Thanks to the op. Just ordered 4 of the turkey & rice senior for my staffy. This stuff is the only food that doesn't give him really bad wind!

Damn, forgot to do quidco. Oh well.
I agree with Lemony, My 11 month old terrier mix will be having the Junior range (because that's what was left in the flavours he likes), and sometimes I buy senior pouches if on offer but he preffers his food wet so I usually mix the two so it's not so critical which I buy. Technically at 8 months a small dog is considered an adult, but I'd always feed specific puppy food for a puppy as they're designed to help the growth and consistently feeding the wrong formulation it could mean the dog won't grow normally.0 -
With smaller breeds you can go straight from puppy food to adult food at around one year (or a little earlier) because they have less physical growing to do. Larger breeds should go from puppy food to junior food at around one year and then onto adult food after that. You can give smaller dogs the junior food if you want to but it's not as important as it is for larger breeds. All dogs develop at different rates and you have to do what you think is best for your dog. My Patterdale terrier is probably fully grown now at 9 months but he may thicken out a bit. I plan to keep him on puppy food until he is one year old and then gradually change him onto adult food. He is extremely energetic and needs high energy food. I would NOT give a young dog senior food because it contains much less fat and energy which is essential for a younger developing dog.0

I missed out on this offer last time and ended up buying 2 large 15kg bags of Adult Turkey for £66 delivered (will last months), so if you order this amount it would be cheaper to look elsewhere without the offers at Pets at home

I'm not sure where else you can buy James Wellbeloved products where I live. We have a huge cheap shop that sells all sorts of things but in general I've found Pets At Home to be cheaper for pet food even without the offers! Of course it will depend what shops you have close to you, but with free delivery and no car myself I'm deffo sticking with Pets At Home for bulky pet food orders!0
